End of holidays.

End of Assignment 3 &4.
End of Semester 2 of my first year.

煲剧

煲剧就好像煲粥一样；要一步一步慢慢来。看戏当然也是要一集一集慢慢看才会有味道。
最近在看的戏有《就想赖着你》和《恋爱星求人》。

《就想赖着你》里面的那男女主角过着的是平凡的生活、谈着的是普通的恋爱。吸引人的地方不是故事情节，也不是言诚旭那帅帅的脸而是项羽平和杨果的互动。他们俩的互动暧昧却又很甜蜜。杨丞林说暧昧总是让人受尽委屈。但是，暧昧往往都是开始一段新恋情的先兆；一段恋情最甜蜜的时刻。

《恋爱星求人》里的男主角做什么都比人迟一步，就连向心仪的对象告白也迟人家一步。古巨基说最心痛是爱得太迟所以鼓起勇气说爱吧！

明天就是除夕夜了。
第一次在没有家人的陪伴下过新年。

Unpredictable!

This was what happened to me:

6.51: Just finish taking bath
7.00: Received skype message from Ke Lin,telling me that there was a guy went to her flat just now n asked all residents in Whitworth Park to evacuate as there was a gas leakage in Aberdeen House
7.16:Cooked and had my dinner(I wonder why I still have time to cook dinner?)
7.16:Packed my bag(books,lab coat,toothpaste n tooth brush,passport etc)
7.40:Left my room n met up with CY they all

5 of us with our bulky bags walked to University Place n had some refreshment there.

The person in charge told us that:

You will be aware that this afternoon we experienced a fractured gas pipe that required us to evacuate the Whitworth Park site on safety grounds
Repairs are underway and Estates have now confirmed that the site is now safe. However it is likely that re-instatement of heating and hot water will not now happen until midday on Tuesday (9th)
Residents may return to their accommodation as of 9pm tonight (Monday)
However as heating and hot water will not be provided, should you wish so facilities at University Place will still be made available; limited refreshments and (should you need it) a supply of additional bedding will be made available from 9.30pm tonight.
We will provide you with a further update tomorrow morning at 10am.
We apologise for the inconvenience but your safety is our priority.

Anyway,I was so impressed by their efficiency!They prepared us duvet ans refreshments in such a short time!

新年

2010年2月14号

曾经以为农历新年大年初一穿新衣、喝汽水、吃新年饼是必然的。
现在，那看是简单的幸福却是遥不可及的。
今年的新年没有家人的陪伴、没有耳熟能详的新年歌围绕在耳边、没有噼里啪啦的鞭炮声。
但是，今年的新年我有一群姐妹在我身边。
我们一样可以在异国的土地感受到新年的气氛、一样可以营造出“家”的感觉。
因为，我有你们！
过新年不在乎是否有新年饼和汽水而是在乎谁与你一起渡过。
过新年的意义就是身边的亲朋戚友都在我身边，共聚一堂。 =）

Both classes are on Tuesday;one is 6-7pm,another one is 5-6pm.

I chose option 1.

Residential Association in my hall has organized free squash lesson for beginner!

They will provide us all the equipments and we just need to be there in time and prepare yoko-yoko after the lesson.LOL

Anyway,this is the email I got from the committee:

Hi Jing, Unfortunately the 6-7 filled up immediatedly, and so did the extra sessions I was putting on, so I'm provisionally putting on a 4th set of lessons, again on a Tuesday evening from 9-10 and I have added you to the class ok?

So,instead of the normal 6-7 session,I got the "Over-time" session.

Hope that I can still survive after Tuesday night.(suffering of muscle pain) =)

F-r-i-d-a-y

Friday;for student like us,it should be a kinda relaxing day as we do not need to go for school/uni for the subsequent 2 days and for those who have been working for the past few days,Friday after five is always the best time for them to rest,enjoy their lives and go for parties or perhaps gatherings with FNF!

BUT,it is not for me!Every first year MPharm students in Uni of Manchester have just finished their continuous 4 hrs lectures with one hr break in between the lectures!My brain is now full with information!A 3 hrs cell biology+1 hr Physical Pharmacy lectures are not relaxing at all...

I have to keep myself awake in the lectures,focused and absorbed the information given by lecturers. I feel that I was like a sponge left on a ground in a rainy day. I know it is a kinda weird metaphor. =P

Anyway,it is worth to mention that my lecturer for Cell Biology ,Dr J.Andrew is a very kind and humorous lecturer.She teaches every lectures with her heart n soul,trying her best to let us remember all those basic yet hard to remember facts! She is so kind in showing us the way to access additional resources that available in Blackboard(our student net).I love her so much!!

So,Friday is not a relaxing day for me but at least it is an interesting day as I have the chance to attend such an informative lectures.

Normal Life~

Today is 1st of Feb,the start of 2nd semester.Lectures,lab works,assignments have resumed!I just got a chance to scan through my timetable today.It is so pack!!!I barely have time to rest with this new timetable. =( The lucky thing is almost all my practical will start next week,meaning that I still got an opportunity to get myself to get used to the new timetable.(although only one week time)n I didnt call my parents for almost a week time n I miss them so much!!!I feel so relieved after I got to know that my class for tomorrow will be end at 1pm not 4,30pm.Yeah!!!I gonna call my mum n chat with her for at least 30 mins!Hehe..

So,what have I done the week before my class resume??

Bathonions have paid us a visit!7 of them including Dudu,Cce,Jessica,Kenny,Jackie,Ang,and 194.We have brought them around city centre,Chinatown,Curry mile and Old Trafford.We had breakfast,lunch n dinner (perhaps we should classify it as supper?)together like what we did last time.We talked,joked,chiamed n laughed!I was so excited to meet up with them n so sad to send them to bus station.Anyway,we definitely will meet up again.Very soon!! =)

Hope u guys enjoy spending time with us.U guys are not visiting Manchester but visiting Mancunians.
